NJBIA- New Jersey Business and Industry Association

Founded in 1910, the is an employer association providing information, services and advocacy for its member companies in order to build a more prosperous New Jersey. It is the nation’s largest statewide employer association with 22,000 member companies in all industries and in every region of the State. The NJBIA is widely regarded as the most credible and effective advocate for business in the State and is vigilant in its efforts to protect business interests and keep New Jersey open for business. New Jersey Community College Consortium

A unique resource for the training of employees of New Jersey businesses and organizations as well as training for re-entry to the workforce statewide. A well-trained and highly skilled workforce is critical to New Jersey鈥檚 future economic growth.

The New Jersey Community College Consortium for Workforce and Economic Development brings together the vast resources of the 19 New Jersey community colleges for New Jersey companies and organizations to access, develop, and receive workforce education and training for their current and emerging workforce statewide.

The Consortium for Workforce and Economic Development is unique in the United States. It was founded in 2004 by the State鈥檚 community colleges to provide coordinated one-stop statewide education and training services to businesses and industries based on the , an Executive Order signed in 2003 that created a new statewide partnership between the State of New Jersey and its 19 community colleges. The Compact designates New Jersey鈥檚 community colleges as the preferred provider of training and for workforce development and business attraction programs.
